Rebecca Mason-Wygal made her stage debut singing “Part of Your World” at Ernie Pyle Elementary, in a hand-sewn mermaid costume her mother made. It was then that she decided to dedicate her life to the stage. She graduated with her B.A. in Acting in 2008, from California State University, Fullerton, along with many other Coeurage members. Since graduating, Rebecca has been privileged to work in some wonderful theaters. She’s spent two seasons at A Noise Within Classical Rep in Glendale, CA, in such productions as The Taming of the Shrew, The Rehearsal, and most recently, The Playboy of the Western World as Sarah Tansey. She also spent two seasons at Summer Repertory Theatre in Santa Rosa,CA, whose productions have included Mame! (as Auntie Mame), The Women (as Mary Haines), The Wedding Singer (as Aunt Angie), Lend Me A Tenor (as Julia Leverett), The Crucible (as Mercy Lewis) and Kiss Me Kate (as Hattie). Most recently, she’s worked with The Great Durango Melodrama & Vaudeville in Durango, CO, performing in The Tavern (as Sally). Rebecca is proud to be a member of the Coeurage Theatre Company, as they continue to bring quality, thought-provoking productions to the Los Angeles theatre scene, and feels honored to serve the company along with her incredibly talented peers. Her favorite painting is “Mischief and Repose”, by John William Godward, and she hopes to one day play Coriolanus.
